A record of being.

Artifacts offered forward, preserved while memory is still close.

These are artifacts offered forward.

Some recorded in quiet rooms. Some recorded in ordinary moments.

Memory fades; these moments won't

V. Spaces and Systems Built

Physical builds and living infrastructure — documented from start to finish, or as close to finish as they get.

  • 2024–Present

    Home Theater

Stadium seating platform, 120" floor-rise screen, B&W 5.1 surround, and zero visible wires. Done enough to use. Not done enough to stop.

  • Ongoing

    Smart Home

Shelly relays behind every switch, door and motion sensors, wireless controllers, and full Home Assistant integration — none of it visible. The smartest switch in the house looks exactly like the dumbest one.

  • Ongoing

    HomeLab

One server in the attic replacing Netflix, Dropbox, Ring, Nest, and more. Custom Unraid build with 30 TB, 20+ containers, and a gaming PC that doubles as a homelab node.

  • 2018–Ongoing

    Home Gym

Two houses. One build that never really stopped. Safer to lift alone here than at any commercial gym.

  • Ongoing

    Integrated Lighting

Lights built into structures before they close up — deck risers, theater platform steps, and whatever comes next. No visible wires. Automated from day one.

  • Completed 2019

    Deck Rebuild

Torn down to the footings and rebuilt from scratch — diagonal decking, picture-frame border, built-in lighting, and a vinyl fence.

  • Completed 2015

    Entertainment Center

Tore out a never-used brick fireplace wall, drywalled it flat, mounted a floating TV, and hid the center channel speaker inside the old firebox. Zero visible wires.
